What exactly is custom tailoring?
Custom tailoring is the process of creating garments unique to you. We take 30 careful measurements in the comfort of your home. Then we draw from a nearly limitless selection of fabrics to create custom garments that most compliment your figure, career and lifestyle.
Custom tailoring sounds great, but can I really afford it?
In reality, a custom-fitted garment often costs the same amount of money as rack clothing; yet it always fits better and usually lasts longer, making it a better investment. In addition, assuming your height and weight don't change, it can be ordered or re-ordered with more ease than a trip to your local mall. Considering the high cost of the "mistakes" many people have in their wardrobes-investments in clothing that will seldom or never be worn-custom tailoring will usually result in a lower overall clothing budget.
Silk or cotton blouses start at $90, and most are $130. Men's shirts start at $90. Suits range from $700 to about $3000 depending on the fabric you select.
THE CONSULTATION PROCESS

Don't worry. Your personal wardrobe consultant is well informed on the latest fashions. However, they are more concerned to help you identify your own unique personal style. They will help you discover the colors, styles and fabrics that most compliment your figure, lifestyle and career goals. Based on this information, your personal wardrobe consultant will evaluate your existing wardrobe and help you build an effective successful wardrobe. You will find your new wardrobe more economical, with fewer, more useful pieces and no expensive "mistakes". We are here to help you look your best every day and to take the worry and hassle out of deciding what to wear.
Wardrobe consultation sounds expensive to me.
Wardrobe consultation is a valuable service. Your expert wardrobe consultant will help you plan your own unique business and casual wardrobe. This will most likely result in huge time and budget savings for you. No more days in the mall spent searching for that elusive perfect outfit. No more expensive, inappropriate, unused items in your wardrobe. What's left? A few pieces you will love and use often-pieces that will flatter your figure, compliment your career and lifestyle, and make you feel wonderful.
But how much does the consultation cost? And will I be obliged to puchase something after the consultation?
There is no fee for the consultation service, nor is their any purchase obligation.
However, we believe you will find custom tailored clothing from Individually Suited to be an important component in your new wardrobe. You will also find our higher quality custom tailored clothing to be comparable in price to rack clothing at the local mall. This is because our shop is "virtual" and we have few employees and little overhead expense. The savings are passed directly to you.
How do I know what fabric is correct for me?
Your personal wardrobe consultant will assist you with your selection of fabric and garment style. The selection will be made considering you lifestyle, occupation and where you reside along with what is most comfortable and flattering to you. You will be able to choose from an almost limitless variety of colors and fine fabrics from around the world.
THE FITTING PROCESS
What is my time investment? How long does the selection and fitting process take?
Even if this is your first custom experience, it will be much quicker and more satisfying than a day at the mall spent going in and out of fitting rooms trying on numerous outfits. What's more, you'll never have to go through this process again because we keep your measurements on record. Next time simply email or call in your order.
Figure on about an hour for the entire process. It takes about 20 minutes to get a full set of measurements. Selecting styles can take from 5 minutes to over half an hour. Most people take about 10 minutes. Selecting fabrics can take from 5 minutes to an hour, depending on how you like to shop. Our wardrobe consultants will work with you at your pace so that you get exactly what you want every time you shop with us.
What if I want to order more clothes? Do I have to be measured again?
Once we have taken your complete set of measurements and entered them into our data base, you need only select the styles and fabrics. If you've gained or lost weight, we'll just check a few measurements to make sure that your new clothes fit perfectly.
RECREATING YOUR PERFECT OUTFIT
Is it possible to duplicate a favorite outfit presently in my wardrobe or from a picture?
Yes, we can copy just about anything. Let us duplicate that favorite garment that is getting warn out. We can re-create it in the fabric and color of your choice. For the most accurate copy, we suggest you have us send your garment directly to the tailors so that they can see the construction details.

YOUR CLOTHING ORDER
Is there a minimum order?
If this is your first order, we do recommend you order just one garment so the fit can be checked. For this reason, there is no minimum order.
Can more than one garment be ordered at a time?
Yes, multiple garments are often placed on a single order.
What options may I add to my clothing?
You may add almost any type of option. Individually Suited has standard garments, similar to a basic car. Choose options from our convenient list or we will custom create additional options to fit your needs. Unlike options on a car, however, nearly all of the options that you can choose from are provided at NO EXTRA COST.
Can I purchase a gift certificate?
Yes, you name the amount and we will create a gift certificate for you.
Is there an extra charge for larger sizes?
If a person's waist is larger than 50 inches there is a slight additional charge because more fabric is required.
What are the shipping and duty charges?
The prices that we quote include all shipping, handling and duty charges. The Perfect Copy items are more expensive because of the additional shipping of the product to the tailors.
What are my payment options?
Payment is due at the time your order is placed. We accept checks, and the major credit cards - VISA, Mastercard, Discover and American Express.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
How long does it take to receive my order?
Typically it takes about 4 weeks. We can expedite orders for a small additional charge.
What is the return policy?
Most often customers find that Individually Suited custom-tailored garments exceed all expectations in the way they fit and look. They were uniquely made only for you. In the rare event that there is an error in quality or fit, we will make the necessary corrections at no expense to you. Alterations take just a few days. We will adjust your measurements in our file so that future orders will fit perfectly. If you are not absolutely delighted with your purchase, you may return it and you will receive a full refund.
